Sea Swimming Groups - Open Water Coaching Session

Join our weekly Sea Swimming Groups for a fun and energizing Open Water Coaching Session! Whether you're a newbie or looking to improve your technique there is a group to suit you, this in-person meet-up is suited to sea swimmers hoping to build endurance, stamina, sea swimming skills, water confidence in the sea - please see below for different groups available based on your swimming competence and goals.
Enjoy a group sea swim, with water cover alongside the group, get coaching tips from the seasoned swim coach, make your swimming part of your weekly fitness, and connect with other swim enthusiasts.
Make this weekly group part of your fitness routine, a refreshing way to boost your skills and enjoy the great outdoors!
Deep Blue Endurance (1hr):
Develop long-distance stamina and mental resilience through sustained effort in deeper waters, these sessions feature swims of a max 2-3k to build serious stamina.
Mid-Tempo Buoy Buddies (1hr):
Focus on your stroke and build endurance. This mid-tier group hones technical skills like bilateral breathing and efficient sighting while enjoying the social flow of the tide. With swims of a max 1k at a steady, engaging pace these build consistent ocean fitness.
Shoreliners (45min):
Keep it close to the sand, light and refreshing. A relaxed, low-pressure sea swim featuring max 500m easy short swims, ideal for recovery or gaining Open Water confidence.
*Please note these swims have a Front Crawl focus and are not suitable for non swimmers or absolute beginners. Swim ability must exceed 200m in a pool (8 lengths).
Duration doesn’t always indicate length of time swimming/time in the water.

Groups run every week Mid May – Late September

Deep Blue Endurance:
Tuesday morn – swim ready at 8am
Saturday morn – swim ready at 8.30am
Usually these swims travel along the buoys in Falmouth Bay.
Mid Tempo Buoy Buddies :
Tuesday eve – swim ready at 6pm
Fri mid – swim ready at 11am
Usually these swims travel around the ‘no vessels’ buoy circuit at Gyllynvase Beach, Falmouth
Shoreliners:
Tues morn – prompt start 9.15am
Sat morn – swim ready at 9.45am
Usually these swims stay closer to the shore, up to and within the first buoys at Gyllynvase Beach, Falmouth

COSTS:

Single session £14
Four session block (flexible) £40
Season Ticket Available - priority booking swim weekly for whole season.

Weekly Options Include -

Tuesdays:
8am Deep Blue Endurance (2-3K max)
9.15am Shoreliners (500m)
6pm Mid Tempo Buoy Buddies (1K)

Fridays:
11am Mid Tempo Buoy Buddies (1K)

Saturdays:
8.30am Deep Blue Endurance (2-3K max)
9.45am Shoreliners (500m)
