Open Zouk and Lambada practiceTime to practice at your own speed, on your own topics - every Tuesday from 17.30-19:00 before Zouk lounge!
* Come with a partner (or practice solo)
* This is not a class:
- Expect to be mostly on your own
- Of course we can help each other, but respect that people might want to focus on their own practice
* There'll be music of different styles and speed - we'll figure out what fits the group and we can take turns.
Practicing, with the option of direct feedback in the couple, is a really helpful tool in improving your dancing, giving the option to repeat, deepen and question what you learn and experience in classes, workshops and socials.
Don't have a partner?
We encourage you to ask fellow dancers at classes or Zouk Lounges whether they'd be up for a practice session. Try to find someone who might be interested in working on the same level or aspects.
Don't know what to practice?
- Try to find out in a couple by giving feedback on what could work or feel better!
- Go through recap videos from classes and try to make it work really well.
There is no specific end date for this series - we'll try out how it works and run as long as there is interest and volunteers. If we start a new class, it might replace the practices in this time slot. So come while there is the opportunity!
The practice is free for members of Aarhus Zoukforening. If you’re not already a member, you can sign up here https://forms.gle/oNcudA6eQ37aDY7K6 or by contacting Nicky Bodentien directly.
