About this Event
Weekend Projects is the volunteer weekend program at Arlington Garden.
Workshops include both larger garden projects (such as rejuvenating a section of the garden or creating new garden features) and smaller projects (such as pruning the orchard).
All projects are designed to facilitate learning regenerative gardening and climate-change appropriate landscaping.
No prior experience is necessary for volunteer projects, but space is limited, and you are required to sign up for free in advance. Please bring water (there is a water bottle refill station on site but no drinking fountain), weather appropriate clothing, sunscreen, and gloves. Since the fire, we ask all volunteers to wear N95 or higher masks and gloves. If you do not have gloves, we have some for you!
Weekend Projects are held the second and final Saturday of each month. The workshops on the final Saturdays focus on garden rejuvenation projects for our 20th anniversary.
Sign up now through June 2026!

If under 18, a legal guardian must agree to the waiver on behalf of the minor.
Arlington Garden is a climate-appropriate, habitat garden offering learning, inspiration, and enjoyment for all. We use regenerative gardening techniques, which means that we harness natural processes to care for the garden. Weekend Workshop participants will acquire knowledge and skills related to regenerative gardening and learn about the natural world!
