About the Program
Weekend Hangout provides a safe, inclusive environment where teens can relax, socialize, and participate in fun activities. The program is designed to:
- Provide newcomer and diverse teens with a community space
- Encourage positive peer relationships
- Offer low‑barrier leadership and volunteer opportunities
- Create a safe, supportive weekend environment
Program Highlights
- Fun, inclusive social activities
- English conversation practice
- Games, creative workshops, and team challenges
- Leadership opportunities and positive youth engagement
Who Can Join
Newcomers ages 14–18 who want to:
- Participate in board games and group activities
- Get involved in their community
- Make new friends
- Join group volunteer opportunities
Parents are welcome to participate.
Schedule
Starting April 11, 2026
- Every Saturdays: 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM
- Every Sundays: 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM
Light refreshments provided.
