Well Jets Family, another week, another frustrating loss!I was really hoping we'd build on our win against Cleveland, but unfortunately, the Patriots had other plans. Losing 26-19 to New England is bad enough, but what really pisses me off is that this was a game we absolutely could have won!
We fell behind 17-3 at halftime, fought our way back into it, but once again couldn't get the job done when it mattered. Going 0-for-3 in the red zone, settling for field goals instead of touchdowns, and failing to sack Drake Maye even ONCE isn't gonna win many football games.
On the positive side, Braelon Allen continues to show promise, and how about rookie Omar Cooper Jr. coming back from injury and putting up 103 yards and a TD! That 48-yard touchdown was a thing of beauty!
But enough about the Patriots. IT'S DOLPHINS WEEK!!!
This Sunday, October 25th at 1:00 PM, our Jets return to MetLife Stadium to take on the WINLESS MIAMI DOLPHINS!
Miami comes into this game at 0-5, while we're sitting at 2-4. If there's ever been a game we NEED to win, this is it! It's a division rival, we're playing at home, and we simply cannot afford to let another opportunity slip away.
Of course, as longtime Jets fans, we know better than to take ANY team lightly, especially a division rival. But come on, guys, let's put together FOUR QUARTERS of solid football and give us something to celebrate!
Speaking of celebrating, we had another great time at Gaspar's last Sunday, despite the outcome on the field.
We gave away $145 CASH in our 50/50 raffle, followed by some great Jets merchandise, including jerseys and other goodies. We've got plenty more to give away this week!
AND WE COULD USE YOUR HELP WITH THE RAFFLE TABLE!
If you've got any Jets merchandise, memorabilia, or other cool items you'd like to donate for our giveaways, PLEASE BRING THEM! It doesn't have to be anything expensive. We love when our Jets Family contributes, and it helps us keep the raffle fun and exciting for everyone!
So get your butts over to Gaspar's Patio Bar & Grille in Temple Terrace this Sunday! Get there early, grab your favorite seat, and let's PACK THE HOUSE!
We've got every TV on the Jets game, the sound cranked up, plenty of great people, and a room full of Jets fans who know how to make some noise!
And if you've never been to one of our watch parties, come on out! Rookies are ALWAYS welcome!
TIME TO SQUISH THE FISH!
LET'S SEND THEM BACK TO MIAMI STILL LOOKING FOR THEIR FIRST WIN!!!
LFG!!!
J-E-T-S, JETS, JETS, JETS!!!
