Alright Jets Family, who's ready to take down the PATRIOTS?!?!WOO HOO!!! It sure felt good to get back in the win column last Sunday! It wasn't pretty, but a WIN IS A WIN, and after that disaster in Chicago, I'll take it!
Our defense finally showed up in a BIG way with 8 sacks, including 3 from rookie David Bailey! Braelon Allen had a helluva game with 116 rushing yards and the game-winning TD, and Garrett Wilson topped 100 yards again. Plenty of things still need fixing, but hopefully this is something we can build on!
Now it's time for Week 6, and this one's PERSONAL!
This Sunday, October 18th at 1:00 PM, our Jets head up to Foxboro to take on our longtime division rivals, the New England Patriots!
The Pats are sitting at 3-2 and coming off a big win over the Raiders, while our Jets are now 2-3. A win Sunday would put us right back at .500, give us our first division win of the season, and there's nothing I'd love more than watching our boys kick some Patriot ASS in their own house!
We've got to keep that defensive pressure going, get the offense clicking, and for the love of God, STOP shooting ourselves in the foot with stupid mistakes!
We had another great time at Gaspar's last Sunday and gave away $145 CASH in our 50/50 raffle, followed by some great Jets merchandise. We've got plenty more goodies to give away this week, including a bunch of Jets jerseys!
And remember, if you've got any Jets merchandise you'd like to donate to the raffle table, PLEASE BRING IT! We love when our Jets Family gets involved and adds to the fun!
So get your butts over to Gaspar's Patio Bar & Grille in Temple Terrace this Sunday! Get there early, grab a good seat, and let's PACK THE HOUSE and make some serious noise!
We've got a chance to get back to .500 AND beat the Patriots in the process. What more motivation do we need?!?!
LET'S MAKE GASPAR'S ROCK ON SUNDAY!!!
J-E-T-S, JETS, JETS, JETS!!!
