Well, Jets Family, I honestly don't know what the hell to say about that disaster in Chicago last Sunday!I've seen some pretty awful Jets football over the years, but that 23-12 loss to the Bears was one for the record books, and NOT in a good way!
How bad was it? The Bears had 34 FIRST DOWNS while the Jets ran just 32 offensive plays THE ENTIRE GAME! PATHETIC!!!
Chicago held the ball for almost 43 minutes, racked up 492 yards of offense, and NEVER HAD TO PUNT! Meanwhile, our offense managed an anemic 157 yards and went 0-for-7 on third downs.
That's not just losing a football game. That's getting your asses handed to you in historic fashion! And against a backup quarterback, no less!
I don't know about you, but I'm getting pretty damn tired of watching this kind of football. The players and coaching staff need to figure this out, and FAST!
But enough about that nightmare. Time to move on to Week 5!
This Sunday, October 11th at 1:00 PM, our Jets return home to take on the Cleveland Browns, who are sitting at 3-1 and riding a three-game winning streak. We're 1-3 and desperately need to turn this thing around.
And while I can't promise you what kind of football we're going to see on Sunday, I CAN promise you a great time with your Jets Family at Gaspar's Patio Bar & Grille!
Last week we gave away over $200 CASH in our 50/50 raffle along with some great Jets merchandise. We've got more prizes to give away this week, including a bunch of Jets jerseys! And as always, if you've got anything Jets-related you'd like to donate to the raffle table, we'd absolutely LOVE it!
One thing I've learned over these 23 seasons is that win or lose, there's nothing quite like spending a Sunday surrounded by your Jets Family. We celebrate the wins together, suffer through the losses together (and boy, have we been doing a lot of that the last 15 years), and somehow keep coming back for more. 😂
So get your butts over to Gaspar's on Sunday, grab a seat, and LET'S MAKE SOME NOISE! We need a win in the worst way, and I want to hear this place ROCKING!
COME ON JETS! GIVE US SOMETHING TO CHEER ABOUT!!!
J-E-T-S, JETS, JETS, JETS!!!
