Join Golden Eagle Audubon and the Wednesday Birders as we check out fall birds at Barber Park. We will meander through forest canopies over to the river looking for ducks that have come for the winter. Our 1.2 mile path will take us along the river before it loops back to the parking area. Along the way, we'll be on the lookout for waterfowl, songbirds, woodpeckers, and Great Horned Owls. We will be moving at a slow pace to allow plenty of time to observe bird behavior in the habitat.
Paths are a mix of paved and unpaved but generally flat. The observation site on the river could be slippery if there is frost or cold conditions in the morning.
Recently reported species can be seen here: https://ebird.org/hotspot/L252509
