The winery was founded by John Lasseter (former creative head of Pixar and Walt Disney Animation Studios) and his wife, Nancy Lasseter. The couple fell in love with wine after moving to Sonoma Valley in 1993, transitioning from dedicated amateur winemakers to estate owners. American truly is what you make of it!
A decade in to their next chapter, 2001, they bought a 65 acre estate in Glen Ellen that had been a French Winemakers' winery began in 1895, added another 35 acres and elevated their wine making status from Garage Winers to Estate Owners!
In place of focusing on single-varietal wines, the winery relies on the art of blending, producing exceptional Bordeaux & Southern Rhône styled reds, whites, and rosé wines that reflect the restrained old-world traditions. Known as the hidden Gem in Sonoma's wine country, you'll enjoy getting to know the Lasseters.
