6:30pm Doors | 7pm MusicAward-winning Iowa Americana duo Weary Ramblers bring together the soulful songwriting of Chad Elliott (guitar and harmonica) and the virtuosic fiddle and mandolin playing of Kathryn Severing Fox. As Iowa Public Radio puts it, “Weary Ramblers are nothing short of an Iowa-based super duo.”
Blending Americana, folk, bluegrass, and blues, the duo has earned national recognition for their original music and captivating live performances. In 2026, they won the Blues Foundation’s International Blues Challenge in the solo/duo category, with Elliott also named Best Guitarist. Their accolades include the International Acoustic Music Awards’ overall grand prize and a Josie Music Award for Americana Song of the Year.
Beyond the awards, Weary Ramblers are natural storytellers, weaving road-tested songs, personal reflections, and genuine humor into an intimate musical experience. Join us at Greenwood for an evening of exceptional musicianship and songs that refuse to fit neatly into one genre.
♿ Greenwood is located on the second floor of a historic building and is accessible only by exterior concrete stairs.
