WE OUTSIDE — SHAYO EDITION 🇳🇬Nigerian Independence Celebration
Saturday 3rd October | Jalou, Newcastle | Hosted by Smooch Promotions
This one is for Naija. 🇳🇬
At Smooch, Nigerian music has always been a huge part of our soundtrack. Together with Jalou Newcastle, we’ve championed Nigerian artists and sounds from the motherland week in, week out — from the records that built the movement to the new generation taking Afrobeats worldwide.
So for Nigerian Independence celebrations, it only makes sense that WE OUTSIDE goes full Naija with a very special SHAYO EDITION. 🥂🇳🇬
SHAYO — drinks, music, energy and a celebration of Nigerian culture through the sound that has taken over the world.
Soundtracking the night:
DJs JoeSensation • Sourboy & Guests
Expect the biggest sounds from Nigeria alongside the usual We Outside party energy — Afrobeats, Nigerian anthems, club favourites and current hits.
And for one hour only, we’re taking it all the way back…
🇳🇬 ONE HOUR OF NIGERIAN THROWBACK CLASSICS 🇳🇬
A dedicated hour celebrating the records and Nigerian artists that helped shape the sound — the songs you grew up on, the ones everybody knows, and those classics that still shut down a dancefloor today.
From the old school to the new school. Lagos to Newcastle.
