About this Event
Join us for the next session of the Community Organizing School, a joint program of Latino Network and East County Rising Community Projects!
Election season asks a lot of us. We show up, knock doors, share our stories, build relationships, and work toward a better future for our communities. But our work—and our power—doesn’t end when the ballots are counted.
Join us for We Keep Building: Post-Election Community Care, a bilingual, community-centered gathering to reflect, reconnect, and look ahead together.
We’ll make space to celebrate meaningful wins beyond election results, share what we’ve learned through organizing, and recognize the relationships and community power we’ve built along the way. Together, we’ll explore how we continue caring for one another, supporting our communities, and building power for the work ahead—regardless of the election outcome.
What to expect:
- Reflect on our election experiences and what was meaningful to us.
- Celebrate wins beyond the ballot box, from building relationships to developing new leaders.
- Connect with community members, organizers, and fellow advocates.
- Explore how we continue building community power, caring for one another, and organizing for change.
- Enjoy light refreshments and time to reconnect with one another.
Whether you spent the season knocking doors, talking with neighbors, supporting a campaign, or are just beginning your organizing journey, you belong here! Come share your experiences, connect with others, and leave feeling grounded in what we can continue building together.
This is a space for all of us. Whether the election results bring excitement, disappointment, uncertainty, or a mix of feelings, we can move forward together. Our communities deserve care, our voices matter, and our organizing continues.
