About this Event
Join us as WE bike 6 miles through Northern Queens, exploring the great bike infrastructure in northern Queens and ending at the food wonderland that is the Queens Night Market. This is a one-way ride! This ride is Citi Bike friendly and WE will have a limited number of free Citi Bikes available, but riders must bring their own helmet.
WE will meet at the southern side of Queensbridge Park (by the restrooms) then ride north on the Vernon Blvd. protected bike lane, enjoy the super wide protected bike lane on 31st Ave. in Astoria, and cruise the largest Open Street in NYC - the 26 blocks of the 34th Ave. Open Street in Jackson Heights! Treats as diverse as the residents of Queens will be waiting for us at the Queens Night Market, where WE will set up a hangout spot in the field and enjoy some delectable nibbles.
Bring your helmet, lots of water, cash (most of the vendors are cash only), and a picnic blanket or chair to relax in the QNM field.
