WCEL Gala & Auction 2027: Starry NightJoin us for an unforgettable evening at the 2027 WCEL Gala & Auction: Starry Night on Saturday, March 20, 2027, at Hotel Bellwether in Bellingham.
Inspired by creativity, possibility, and the unique ways every person shines, Starry Night celebrates the children, families, educators, supporters, and community partners who help make Whatcom County a more inclusive place for everyone. Guests will enjoy dinner, live and silent auctions, inspiring stories, and opportunities to support the life-changing work of the Whatcom Center for Early Learning (WCEL).
This year, we're excited to move the Gala from May to March in recognition of Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month. The new timing allows us to begin the year by celebrating inclusion, raising critical funds earlier, and building momentum for the work ahead.
Proceeds from the evening support WCEL's programs and services for children and families across Whatcom County, helping ensure that every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.
Whether you're a longtime supporter or attending for the first time, we invite you to join us for a meaningful evening of community, generosity, and impact.
