Join us for a talk centred around clay as part of CONTEMPORARY X ART HISTORIES, a collaborative strand of programming between the University of Nottingham and Nottingham Contemporary.
Ceramic sculptor Irina Razumovskaya (Royal College of Art) reflects on her work with clay as both an artist and an educator, in conversation with art historian Lara Pucci (University of Nottingham). The conversation will explore the physical properties of clay and its capacity to unite makers, asking what it means to work with a material that is both rooted in place and transcends cultures.
