We are excited to share that Luna Babies’ request to light the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge pink and blue has been approved.On Thursday, October 15, the bridge will shine in remembrance of babies lost during pregnancy, at birth, or in infancy for Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day and the International Wave of Light.
Join Luna Babies for an informal, self-paced walk across the bridge beginning at 7:00 p.m. This is a time to gather in love, remembrance, and support for families who carry a baby in their hearts.
Luna Babies will provide glow sticks while supplies last.
There is no formal program, registration requirement, or expectation to share your story. You are welcome to walk with us, pause for a moment of remembrance, light a candle at home, or participate in the way that feels right for you.
At 7:00 p.m. local time, families and supporters around the world will join the Wave of Light by lighting candles in remembrance of babies lost during pregnancy or infancy. Whether you walk with us at the bridge or light a candle at home, you are part of this light. 🤍
