Ignorance Prevails x Rich Mix Cinema presents Watkins Law. Join us for a special screening celebrating film, culture and our next chapter.About this Event
Ignorance Prevails, in partnership with Rich Mix Cinema, invites you to a special evening of independent cinema at Rich Mix.
Join us for a celebration of emerging filmmakers and original storytelling, featuring a collection of radiant short films from independent filmmakers, bringing together a range of voices, perspectives and cinematic styles.
At the end of the evening, we will present Watkins Law, a film by Ignorance Prevails, the production company founded by Blair Gyabaah and Niyi Akin.
Written by Blair Gyabaah and directed by Niyi Akin, Watkins Law is a raw and emotionally charged story exploring toxic relationships, emotional conflict, and the consequences of misunderstanding the people we love most. A story where what feels like love slowly reveals itself to have only ever been lust.
This screening marks the final short film collaboration from Ignorance Prevails as we move towards longer-form feature filmmaking.
Join us for an evening of film, culture, conversation and celebration as we enter our next chapter.
