Parallel 44 Presents WATKINS GLEN ’s Super Deluxe Allstar Band – A Celebration of the Allmans, the Dead, The Band, Little Feat & 70s Funk/Soul at Volcanic Theatre in Bend on Saturday, November 7 th . For this special tour, leader “Brother Gabe” Johnson has assembled a unique super-group of truly world-class players: Drummer/Singer Cliff Porter (Jamcruise AALx2, Joe Marcinek Dead Funk, Jelly Bread), legendary singer/guitarist Pete Kartsounes , keyboardist Brian “Swiz” Swislow (Object Heavy) and bassist Mark Karwan (Jenner Fox, Quattlebaum). Blending deep grooves, soaring improvisation, rich vocal harmonies, and a healthy dose of funk, this all-star lineup delivers timeless songs with heart, soul, and a spirit all its own. Watkins Glen has never been interested in being a band of copycats.
