About this Event
Explore leaves as both botanical forms and expressive elements in watercolor. In this 2-hour workshop, we'll experiment with shape, texture, layering, line, and negative space, creating individual leaves inspired by nature. Along the way, you'll learn simple watercolor techniques — wet-on-wet blending, dry-brush texture, and controlled linework — that bring each leaf to life on the page.
We'll also incorporate words and meaningful quotes, allowing each leaf to become a small piece of art with its own story. Whether it's a favorite phrase, a personal mantra, or a line that simply resonates with you, your words will become part of the composition — turning a botanical study into something more personal and reflective.
This workshop is as much about slowing down and creating space for yourself as it is about the art itself. No prior painting experience is needed — we'll guide you through each step, from your first brushstroke to your finished piece. By the end, you'll leave with a small collection of original watercolor leaves, ready to frame, gift, or keep as a quiet reminder of the time you spent creating.
