Welcome to Watercolor Club!
My name's Ally! I'm a local artist excited to share some of the calm and freedom that painting has brought me throughout my entire life by leading these classes regularly at Market House!
For this month, we'll learn some basic watercolor techinques and paint the background of our scene (a window with a precious woodsy autumnal view). Then, each participant will pick from a variety of pre-sketched components to paint and glue to the window nook--think bouquets, books, plants, a mug, a frame, a snack, a journal, etc.! Participants can also make their own components to customize the scene even further.
The resulting artwork will be a visual haven you can look at any time you need a cozy escape, OR it can be a sweet customized gift for a hobby and nature-lover in your life. And we'll have a relaxed and fun time in the process!
A few notes:
-Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.
-The shops in Market House close at 4 on Sundays, so I definitely encourage coming early and supporting these incredible businesses!
-There is free parking in the lot behind Market House and street parking is free on Sundays.
-If you have a watercolor kit you'd like to bring, please select the ticket tier "BYO Watercolor" so that you don't buy/receive a kit you won't need! If you choose this option but end up needing a kit on the day of the workshop though, fear not: I'll have extras for sale!
