The Town of Prescott Valley invites residents, community partners, and anyone interested in learning more about Arizona’s water future to attend “Water Resources 101,” featuring guest speaker Rhett Larson, on October 15, 2026, at 5pm. The event will be held at the Prescott Valley Library Council Chambers, 7401 E Skoog Blvd in Prescott Valley.This presentation will provide the history and basics of the laws governing water rights in Arizona, as well as updates on major developments and controversies in water law and policy. This includes the Colorado River, groundwater transport basins, rural groundwater management reforms, the assured water supply program, and stormwater management.
