Coronado Water Polo Archive DayHelp Us Preserve the Legacy! 💚🤽
Every Photo Has a Story. Help Us Tell It.
For generations, Coronado Water Polo has been more than a sport. It has been a tradition built on championships, friendships, dedicated coaches, remarkable athletes, and a community that has supported them every step of the way.
Now, we're working to preserve that history — and we need your help!
Join us at the Coronado Historical Association for a special Water Polo Archive Day as we gather photographs, stories, and memorabilia for an upcoming book celebrating the history and lasting impact of Coronado High School Water Polo from 1968 to today.
📸 What We're Looking For
Team photographs — From every decade, boys' and girls' teams, varsity and JV.
Action photographs — Games, tournaments, practices, and championship celebrations.
Newspaper clippings — Articles, headlines, game recaps, and special achievements.
Water polo memorabilia — Programs, yearbooks, awards, posters, team gear, and other keepsakes.
Personal stories — Favorite coaches, unforgettable teammates, road trips, friendships, and memories from the pool deck.
💚 Why Your Contributions Matter
We want this book to tell more than the story of championships and scores.
We want to celebrate the people who built Coronado Water Polo, the lessons they carried into their lives, and the lasting impact the program has had on our community.
You may have a photograph or memory that fills a missing chapter of our history!
