About this Event
This calming, hands-on workshop introduces participants to the art of water calligraphy as a mindful creative practice. Suitable for all levels, the session offers a gentle space to slow down, focus and explore mark-making in a new way.
The workshop begins with a short introduction to calligraphy as both an art form and a tool for presence. Participants are introduced to the 'Four Treasures' of traditional calligraphy and shown how water calligraphy works through a live demonstration.
The majority of the session is dedicated to guided practice, allowing participants to experiment with brush, movement and flow using water on reusable surfaces. The workshop closes with simple winding-down stretches to help integrate the experience.
All materials are provided.
