Warren Presbyterian Church presents the Alpha SeriesWhat: Six week Alpha course (content available here: https://alpha.org.au) discussing key christian topics:
Week 1: The purpose of life
Week 2: Who is Jesus
Week 3: Why did Jesus die
Week 4: How can I have faith?
Week 5: Why and how do I pray?
Week 6: Why and how should I read the Bible?
How: each week we will have dinner before watching a short video and discussing questions on the topic. Each person will have chance to share their opinion or just listen in if they prefer.
Who: Anyone is welcome of any religion or non religion. We need at 3-8 people to run the course. It’s designed to be a discussion so we are limited at 8 to ensure everyone gets a chance to share.
When: We will commence Week 1 on the 20th October at 6:30pm for dinner and 7pm for content and discussion. Continuing every Monday after.
Where: At the Presbyterian church (we have new kitchen facilities and lounge space)
Why: come to explore your questions, rekindle your faith, build an understanding or prepare for baptism. Christians believe that God calls people to seek him - if he has placed this on your heart it’s likely he is calling you.
