WARRANT
The legendary German Speed/Thrash Metal band Warrant is coming to Tilburg, and they're doing so in collaboration with Burning.
Warrant was at the forefront of the German Speed/Thrash Metal scene in 1985. They released the album "The Enforcer" and the EP "First Strike" on the renowned Noise Records label. In 2014, the band returned after a long hiatus with the album "Metal Bridge," and their latest release dates back to 2025: the fantastic album "...The Speed Of Metal."
BURNING
Burning is a heavy metal band from Groningen that has carved out a niche for itself in the international metal scene since 2013. The group consisting of Hugo Koch (vocals), Renee Knegt (guitar), Tim van Elteren (guitar), Daan van de Craats (bass), and Mas Prevoo (drums)—combines heavy riffs, catchy hooks, and harmonies with influences from death, thrash, hard rock, and old-school heavy metal. This results in a sound that feels both familiar and innovative.
The band gained attention early on with the single "Something Is Lurking in the Dark" (2014), whose music video has since been viewed over half a million times. Since then.
Burning has collaborated with established names such as Diamond Head, Uli Jon Roth, O.D. Saxon, Tygers of Pan Tang, Vicious Rumors, Holocaust, Helloïse, Raven, and Picture, and has become a fixture in the underground community.
After previous releases, including their debut album, Nightmares, and the concept EP, The P.I.D. Files, the band released their second full-length album, Scourge of Humanity, in 2022, featuring a guest appearance by former Iron Maiden guitarist Dennis Stratton.
A split LP with Sad Iron followed in 2024. Burning now boasts a large international fan base and is currently working on a third album, scheduled for 2026.
