Let’s come together and do something meaningful for our community. 🤍BayouSide Health & Wellness is hosting Warm Hearts, Cold Nights, a community care-bag packing night for neighbors experiencing homelessness in our area.
Our goal is to fill 50 cold-night care bags before the colder weather arrives. We’ll have packing stations set up throughout BayouSide so everyone can help organize supplies, fill bags, and write encouraging notes to include inside.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
Please bring one or a few new, unopened items that comfortably fit your budget. You do not have to bring a donation to attend and help us pack!
We are collecting:
• New adult crew socks
• Warm hats and gloves
• Hand warmers
• Emergency thermal blankets
• Rain ponchos
• Travel-size toothbrushes and toothpaste
• Body wipes
• Travel-size deodorant and soap
• Lip balm
• Feminine-care products
• Soft, individually wrapped snacks
• Bottled water
Please do not bring medications, razors, glass containers, homemade food, expired items, or used clothing.

This is a free, family-friendly event. Bring your children, friends, family, or coworkers and help us reach our goal of 50 bags!
We are coordinating with local cold-night outreach to make sure the finished bags reach people who need them in our community.
Please RSVP so we know how many volunteers to prepare for. We can’t wait to spend the evening giving back together!
