Ward 11 residents are invited to join us for an All-Candidates Debate on Friday, October 9 at 7 p.m. at St. James Westminster Church Hall, featuring all three candidates: Denise Brown, Skylar Franke and Harinder Kumar.Presented by the Old South Business Association in partnership with the Old South Community Organization, the evening is about helping residents become better informed, opening discussion about the issues that matter to our community, and giving you the opportunity to hear how each candidate responds to some of the biggest issues facing Ward 11 and our city. Ultimately, it is up to you to decide who you think will best represent you.
Have a question for the candidates?
We want to hear from residents. If there is a question you would like posed to all three candidates during the debate, you can submit it in advance here:
https://www.oldsouthba.com/ward11debate
The debate will begin with pre-determined questions posed by moderator Craig Needles of Classic Rock 98.1 and the Craig Needles Podcast. After those questions, people in attendance will have an opportunity to ask their own questions directly to the candidates.
Following the debate, there will also be an opportunity to speak one-on-one with the candidates, ask additional questions and get to know the people seeking to represent Ward 11.
Can't make it in person? The debate will be livestreamed on the Old South Business Association Facebook page, so you can follow along from home:
