About this Event

The Wanstead Library Grief Cafe is a safe and confidential space to meet others, to share stories and to explore thoughts and feelings around the experience of grief and a loss.

It's a supportive environment for reflection and conversation. It's a place where people will be able to find mutual support and encouragement.

It may be that your loss is anticipated, recent or a long time ago.

At our Grief Cafe there is no agenda, objective or theme; the conversation is simply led by the people in the group.

Please note that this is not a counselling session but a supportive space for those who are grieving who wish to share their experiences with others going through the same thing.

Join us for refreshments and a friendly supportive ear. Everyone is welcome.

The session starts promptly at 6.30pm. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate late-comers as it disrupts the session too much - we thank you for your understanding on this.

Due to generous funding from North East London Integrated Care Board, we are able to offe these sessions for FREE to all.
