About this Event
Join us at Wan's Mandarin House for a special Winemaker Dinner with Chris Benziger of Benziger Family Winery.
Chris will guide you through five thoughtfully paired wines while we serve a multi-course Cantonese dinner. Every guest takes home a bottle of Benziger Running Wild Chardonnay or Tribute Cabernet Sauvignon, signed by Chris.
White Course Benziger Sauvignon Blanc (2025, California) & Benziger Running Wild Chardonnay (2023, Paicines) Paired with Shanghai Cucumber Salad, Spicy Chicken Dumplings, Peking Duck, and Salt & Pepper Shrimp
Red Course Imagery Pinot Noir (2022, Monterey County) & Tribute Cabernet Sauvignon (2023, Paso Robles) Paired with Mandarin Beef, Szechuan Pork, Eggplant with Garlic Sauce, Vegetable Lo Mein, and Egg & Onion Fried Rice
Dessert Course Benziger Merlot (2023, California) Paired with a dark chocolate tart with macerated berries homemade by Berna Bakes
