Follow your senses into the forest for gentle movement, meditation and moments of wonder beside the flowing river.
About this Event

Let the forest invite you to slow down.

The scent of cedar. The softness of moss. The sound of water moving over stones.

When we pause long enough to notice, a familiar walk can become a beautiful discovery.

Join Marieke for a guided Nature Bathing experience beside the Capilano River. Together, we’ll wander beneath the trees, awaken our senses and make room for quiet, curiosity and connection.

What is Nature Bathing?

Nature Bathing is an unhurried, mindful way of spending time in nature, taking in the forest through our senses. No swimming is involved.

Through gentle invitations and guided practices, we’ll explore the details we often pass by, notice how we feel and enjoy being present with the living world around us.

During our time together

  • Wander slowly: follow forest trails with pauses to notice what draws your attention.
  • Awaken your senses: explore the colours, textures, scents and sounds of the forest.
  • Breathe and unwind: enjoy gentle breathwork, grounding and mindful movement.
  • Rest in stillness: settle into a guided meditation surrounded by nature.
  • Connect and reflect: share moments of discovery, with space for quiet of your own.

Whether you’re craving a break from a busy week, meaningful time outdoors or a fresh sense of perspective, this is an invitation to give yourself that time.

Come curious. Come as you are.

You don’t need experience with meditation or Nature Bathing. Come on your own or invite a friend to share the experience.

Our group is intentionally small, creating a relaxed atmosphere where we can get to know one another while enjoying space to breathe.
