On Saturday 31 October, we’re opening the grove at Oakmere Events for Walking with the Ancestors.You’ll cross the bridge and follow the lights into the trees, where the fires will be burning and the evening will begin.
There will be live music from Heart Melodies, Jonathan Royal and Jam Tribe, with stories and songs shared around the sacred fire.
Around the grove you’ll also find:
🔥 An ancestor meditation
🔥 A woodland altar
🔥 A family fire hut with stories and activities
🔥 Apple bobbing, crafts and toffee apples
🔥 An Alice in Wonderland-inspired trail
🔥 A closing sound bath
🔥 Hot drinks, soup and homemade cakes
🔥 An optional firewalk
🔥 The chance to meet the alpacas
This is an outdoor family gathering, so wrap up warmly, wear suitable boots and bring a camping chair if you would prefer one to the hay bales and log seating.
Children remain the responsibility of their grown-ups throughout the evening.
