There are many faces of the feminine.
The Maiden. The Mother. The Wild Woman. The Crone.
Each carries her own energy, wisdom and medicine. Each moves through us at different times in our lives, calling us towards beginnings, creation, instinct, release, wisdom and transformation.
Walking with Goddess is an immersive Soul Food Sunday afternoon exploring these four feminine archetypes through meditation, spoken word, bodywork, mythology, ritual and sound.
We’ll begin by creating sacred space and calling in the four quarters, before journeying through the Maiden, Mother, Wild Woman and Crone. Through meditation, spoken word and embodied practices, we’ll explore not only what these archetypes represent, but where their energies may already be living and moving within us.
From here, we will meet four different goddesses, each connected to one of the archetypes.
I’ll share their stories, myths and legends, exploring the energy and wisdom each goddess carries and how we might begin to walk alongside her in our own lives.
We’ll explore ways of connecting with and honouring Goddess, including creating sacred altars, choosing offerings, ritual, meditation and simple devotional practices that can be woven into everyday life.
This isn't about following a particular belief system or needing any previous knowledge of Goddess.
It is about curiosity, connection and remembering.
Listening to ancient stories and noticing what they stir within us. Exploring the different faces of the feminine and recognising the parts of ourselves reflected back through them.
Perhaps the Maiden calls you towards possibility and a new beginning.
Perhaps the Mother asks you to nurture something within yourself or bring something into creation.
Perhaps the Wild Woman is calling you back to instinct, freedom and the untamed parts of yourself.
Or perhaps the Crone is asking you to turn inward, listen deeply and trust the wisdom you have gathered along the way.
We’ll close our afternoon by coming back together in sharing circle, before settling down and allowing everything we have explored to integrate through a deeply nourishing **sound journey.
An afternoon steeped in mythology, feminine wisdom, embodiment, ritual, connection and a little bit of magick.
