Autistic Pride Chattanooga is walking in the Chattanooga Pride Parade, and we’re inviting our whole community to walk with us. This moment matters. It was at this very parade last year that we announced Chattanooga’s first Autistic Pride Day. Since then, our community has grown, our work has expanded, and autistic leadership in Chattanooga has become visible in new ways.
This year, Autistic Pride Chattanooga is a Community Sponsor of Chattanooga Pride. We are providing three sensory‑safe tents at the festival, including Tea with Iroh, a calm space designed by autistic people for everyone. It’s our way of making Pride more accessible, more grounded, and more welcoming for anyone who wants or needs a place to pause.
We will also be announcing the next Autistic Pride Day, continuing the tradition of making autistic culture visible in Chattanooga and building on the momentum that started right here at this parade.
Come walk with us. Show up in community. Celebrate one of the many things Pride and Autistic Pride share: pride in self‑acceptance and love.
