Walk a shelter dog with NAHJ

Looking for a fun way to spend your day? Come hang out and walk a shelter dog in person! It’s a great chance to get some fresh air, make a furry friend, and support our local pups. Whether you’re a dog lover or just want to chill and enjoy good company, this event is for you. Don’t miss out on some tail-wagging fun with NAHJ!

PLEASE RSVP ahead of time so we can make sure the shelter brings a dog for you to walk :)

You will be provided with a small backpack with everything you and your furry friend will need for the day — toys, treats, portable water bottle, etc. Once you're done with the walk, simply meet us back at the drop-off point.
