About this Event
Walik Location:
Access Mission Park Greenway off of Gordon via Lexington, turn between soccer field & baseball diamond. Free parking. Sadie & I will meet you by the sign entrance to the Mission Park Greenway.
What is a Walik: (Walk + Frolic)
A guided, slow paced nature walk held weekly, combining quiet presence with gentle exploration. It's time spent in nature with myself, Michelle & Sadie, my German Shepherd dog. She's the sweetest, most loving girl & an integral part of providing the Frolic part of Walik.
We come together as a small group, max 10 people & focus on presence & grounding for our one hour together.
What we Do on the Walik:
For our hour together, we'll focus on energy & how it feels to be present & grounded & explore the challenges of doing so. I'll gently guide & prompt you to contemplate through questions, observations & suggestions. Much of our time together is spent in silence, not chatter, to allow us to contemplate & focus on breathing & calming our nervous systems. This is a time to slow down & allow quiet reflection, so you can hear your own wisdom again. We'll be considering how we feel in our own bodies, as well as exploring the nature all around us.
