How Does Wakefield Clothes Exchange Work? 👗👚👠 🛍️ Bring up to 15 items to swap!
We’ll check them over for holes, missing buttons, broken zips, stains, or super-bobbled knits. Basically, if you wouldn’t grab it from a charity shop, please don’t bring it!
👩👧👦 What we take:
- Women’s & kids’ clothes
- Shoes, bags, scarves, hats, gloves & wraps
(No men’s clothes, sorry! 🙅♂️)
💃 Once checked, your items go on hangers and into the mix. Then it’s shopping time! Go find your next fave outfit.
📦 Item swap rules:
- Bring 15 items = Take 15 items
- Took fewer than you brought? Carry over to the next exchange!
- Got credits from before? Bring them along, pay entry, and get swapping.
💸 Entry: £3 (cash or card)
👶 Kids are free unless swapping their own clothes.
⏰ Pro Tip: It’s busy at the start, so if crowds aren’t your vibe, pop in later—more clothes will be out by then too!
🪞 Changing rooms are available if you want to try stuff on.
