As Advent draws near, this quiet day offers space to pause and listen for God’s gentle coming.Through Scripture, silence, and reflections inspired by C. S. Lewis’ The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, we will explore longing, hope, and the gift of waiting.
In the stillness, we may begin to notice the quiet signs of Christ drawing near.
Set within the peaceful surroundings of Whalley Abbey, the day will include guided reflections, quiet prayer, silence, and space simply to rest and prepare for Advent.
Whether you are familiar with retreats or trying a quiet day for the first time, you are warmly welcome.
