Waitangi Day Festival 2027The Point Cook Scorpions Rugby League Club is incredibly proud to announce that we will be hosting the Waitangi Day Festival 2027 on Saturday, 6 February 2027 at the Werribee Racecourse.
We are humbled to help carry the kaupapa forward in 2027. Many of the volunteers and organisers who have proudly delivered these Waitangi Day celebrations over recent years are now part of the Point Cook Scorpions and will once again be working behind the scenes, bringing their experience, passion, and commitment to creating a day our community can enjoy.
Waitangi Day for us is about celebrating culture, bringing people together, and creating a space where whānau, friends, and the wider community can connect through performances, kai, music, sport, and shared experiences.
Our celebration doesn't replace the importance of Waitangi Day in Aotearoa - it reflects what the day means to many of us who proudly carry our culture wherever we are.
Over the coming months we'll be announcing performers, food vendors, market stalls, cultural groups, sponsors, volunteers, and plenty more.
