About this Event

Help Get Out the Vote with WAAVE!

Join Wisconsin Asian American Voices for Empowerment (WAAVE), in partnership with the Milwaukee Voter Project, for a nonpartisan voter information volunteer shift at Hmong Town!

We'll be greeting community members and distributing flyers with early voting locations and hours throughout the City of Milwaukee, helping make voting information more accessible ahead of the November 3 election.

Event Details

Thursday, October 29 | 3:00–5:00 PM
Location: Hmong Town, Milwaukee

What to Expect:

  • Greet shoppers and offer printed early voting schedules.
  • Share information about where and when Milwaukee residents can vote early.
  • Help community members find official voting resources.

No previous volunteer experience is necessary! Volunteers will be stationed outside the business and should dress for the weather.

This is a strictly nonpartisan activity. Volunteers should not advocate for or against candidates, political parties, or ballot measures.
