I’m here for the purpose of Wreaths Across America for Bay City 2026. I did not serve but I have great admiration and gratitude for Veterans that did. Especially for those who: gave their life for 250 years of our freedom, suffer life injuries, and their family sacrifice. Never let us forget the heroes reliving terrors of war at home ending their life at the rate of “22 per day” resulting in more fatalities than the war itself.
Last year I bought a WAA wreath for HS friend Staff Sergeant Roger Moll KIA 1968 Vietnam. Unwitting to me Bay Citians made it 12 wreaths and showed up at Floral Garden Cemetery in December to lay wreaths at Veteran graves.
Thank You Kristina Shore and to your Bay City residents undeterred by snow, ice and cold.
This year, December 19, 2026 WAA National Day of Remembering we’ll meet at Noon, Floral Garden Cemetery, Cass Ave with Bay City folks, students, business and Veterans from last year to Honor and Remember the nearly 2,000 Veterans buried at Floral Gardens. Please help grow the awareness in Bay City for sponsors of wreaths or to just show up for prayer and thoughtfulness honoring Bay City Veterans.
