First Saturday of every month, we hike. This time we're taking it to Petroglyph Canyon — a desert wash winding through dark volcanic rock carved with more than 300 panels of ancient rock art. About 4 miles round trip, easy pace, everyone welcome. Veterans, families, friends, first-timers. If you can walk, you belong on this trail.
Here's why we do it: community, camaraderie and connection. Every hike we build a little more of each. And at the halfway point we stop, circle up and say the names of the ones who aren't walking with us. We carry them up that canyon together. That's how we fight isolation — one hike, one name, one battle buddy at a time.
🎒 THE RUCK IS STILL ON THE LINE
Every hiker who shows up gets an entry for the GORUCK Rucker. We're collecting entries all the way to the 5th Annual Army Navy Watch Party on Saturday, December 12 at Craggy Range — that's where the winner gets revealed. Show up in November, stack your odds.

Trail notes: bring water and sun protection, wear real shoes (it's a rocky wash), and leave the petroglyphs untouched. This one is a no-dogs trail per BLM.
