About this Event
The workshop is an oppoortunity to explore seaweed as a subject and material through the mediums of sound, writing and printmaking.
Inspired by Vraiqu’sie, The Moving Arts Collective’s exhibition at Elizabeth Castle, the workshop explores Jersey’s intertidal landscape and the traditional practice of vraicking through creative making.
No previous experience is needed — all skills and abilities are welcome. Suitable for adults and older children (accompanied by an adult). The workshop takes place in the Makers’ Space at Jersey Museum, with lift access. The site is fully accessible.
Free to attend, thanks to support from the Jersey Community Foundation, with funds from the Channel Islands Lottery and support from Jersey Heritage.
