Indivisible Evansville and our advocate friends are working hard to increase voting in our community, and as part of that work, we’re hosting VoteFest from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, October 18, at Vann Park. This event is a nonpartisan celebration of the 250th anniversary of American democracy and the right to vote.
Voting is one of the most important ways we participate in our democracy, yet Indiana’s voter turnout is historically among the lowest in the country. Let’s celebrate the vote, make our plan to vote, and encourage others to vote!
Did you like our No Kings 3 involvement fair? We’re planning another one for VoteFest! We’ll also have music, historic speeches, food, and craftivism. Come celebrate 250 years of American democracy - and help build a stronger culture of voting in our community.
VoteFest is a nonpartisan celebration of democracy, and all candidates for office and political parties are welcome to attend.
