Busking FTW!We are pleased to announce that our Arts Activation Pilot is a finalist for the Island Rotary (Rotary Club of Galveston Island) Community Choice Grant!
This grant is a 100% popularity contest for 20k. Whoever can get the most Galveston city limits residents to show up at Rosenberg LIbrary in person on biker rally Thursday 5-7pm to vote for them, will win the $20k!
To thank musicians for showing up that day, everyone who registers to busk (regardless of their residence)will enter a raffle to win a free Audigo field recorder! (Sponsored by Enabler Productions)
What are you voting for? Think of dedicated amplified public performance space free for artists to use! We will identify 3 high traffic spots great for busking and making tips, and 2 performance spaces with audience space for productions and other projects.
Want to know more about the project? Email us at [email protected], or fb messenger Nellie Cornett with any questions!
