About this Event

Join members of Save Coastal Wildlife Nonprofit as discover the many species of plankton that live in Sandy Hook Bay, NJ. We will meet outside at one of the small Pavillions in the Atlantic Highlands Marina, near the Atlantic Highlands Yacht Club. Look for people with microscopes and tables. Please bring a folding chair and a flashlight.

Discover what tiny life is living within a few drops of water in an estuary.

Volunteers will learn how to use a plankton net, and then look through a microscope to identify various species of local plankton, such as copepods, crabs, and fish.
