Register and sign up for the My Friends Who Volunteer team and walk with us! Registration is FREE, and fundraising/donations are optional. **Registering on Eventbrite does not add you to our walking team - you must register on the AFSP website linked above!

Help make the event happen behind the scenes. Sign up for an open task in the SignUp Genius link above (feel free to select more than one)! **Registering on Eventbrite does not add you to the volunteer roster - you must register for a specific volunteer task on the AFSP website linked above!

Walk participant registration instructions:
- Step 1: Click the yellow “Register Now!” button and create an account on the Frederick Walk Portal here: tinyurl.com/walk-register
- Step 2: Select “Event Participant” and “Join a Team”. Search for “My Friends Who Volunteer” (team captain is Justin Mejia) and join our team! Continue to next step.
- Step 3: Enter in your personal fundraising goal (you are absolutely free to put $0), then select if you’d like to make a donation. Note: Registration is free and donations are optional
- Step 4: Enter your t-shirt size and choose beads that are the best fit for your participation
- Step 5: Finish the remaining fields, review your information and press “Confirm” to complete your registration
- Step 6: Once complete & if you chose to set a fundraising goal, on this page you can select the “Get Page Link” button to get a sharable link to your donation page
We will coordinate meeting up to walk together closer to the event!
Volunteer sign-up instructions:
- Step 1: Follow this link to the SignUp Genius and peruse the available tasks (notice each task has limited volunteer slots): tinyurl.com/afsp-frederick
- Step 2: Select one or more open tasks and click “Save & Continue”
- Step 3: If you’re volunteering for more than one task, please indicate that by writing a comment as prompted for each role, such as writing “Unloading supplies and post-event clean up”
- Step 4: Fill in your contact information and click “Sign Up Now”
After completing these steps, you are signed up and all set! You should receive a confirmation via email from AFSP.
