About this Event
Welcome to All: Creating Inclusive Communities and Opportunities
Join us to learn more about the Welcome to All project, a county-wide initiative working to make Somerset a more welcoming, inclusive and supportive place for refugees, asylum seekers and other displaced people.
During this session, we will hear from Thrive about engaging with displaced people and how organisations can make their services and volunteering opportunities more accessible, welcoming and inclusive. We will also hear from Charis Refugees, who will share insights into the development and impact of community hubs across Somerset and the role they play in helping people feel connected, supported and empowered within their communities.
Free tickets are solely available to VCFSE staff and volunteers from organisations operating in Somerset, and will be of particular interest to those with fundraising responsibilities for their group or organisation. If you are not booking as a representative from a VCFSE organisation or group, your booking will be cancelled.
