Description: Join us for light refreshments and inspiring stories from our speaker, Ed Allen.
Ed Allen, a Payette NF smokejumper 1968-71, who went on to live and work out of Chamberlain Station before, during, and after the transition from Idaho Primitive Area (IPA) to official Wilderness area (as well as during Big Creek RD’s combination with Krassel RD), and worked for decades with the forest in multiple roles, before retiring and continuing to take on restoration projects such as the cabin at Arctic Point LO.
