October is Independent Read Month! 📖
There’s no assigned book this month. Instead, choose a book that interests you and bring it along! Come ready to share what you’re reading, hear what others have discovered, and maybe leave with a few new additions to your reading list.
Our Voices & Visibility Book Club focuses on celebrating and amplifying marginalized voices and stories that are often underrepresented, unheard, or pushed to the margins.
What to Expect:
• Bring a book of your choice
• Share what you're reading with the group
• Discover new books and authors through others
• Relaxed, welcoming conversation and community
Coming in November: Our next common read will be The City We Became by N. K. Jemisin! Feel free to grab your copy and start reading.
Important Information:
This book club is open to all ages. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. We encourage parents and guardians to review books beforehand to determine whether the content is appropriate for their child and family.
You don’t need to be an expert reader or literary critic — just bring yourself, your book, and an open mind!
