The Archdiocese of Seattle is hosting "Community Gatherings" to both explain and answer questions. For our region, the meeting will be in Vancouver at St. Joseph Church at 6600 Highland Drive. We have no idea how fair this will be or if good intent to actually listen and change paths will be entertained. But, we will go with open hearts, while still speaking truth and advocating for what is true, good and beautiful. Gather your friends and fellow advocates for saving our churches, especially St. Joseph in Kalama. The archdiocese wants you to register yourself so PLEASE do so in advance of October 29 here:

How is it God's will to destroy individual parishes to create new mega parishes?
How is the Holy Spirit leading us to neglect historical landmark churches while the rain seeps into the roof at St. Joseph Kalama, while leadership obfuscates and stalls?
Why did you allow the preemptive shut down St. Joseph Kalama, pretend there's no money for repairs (when there is?), allow the locks to be changed, and lie about needed repairs?
When you dissolve the canonical status and change the names of the unique parishes across our state, how will we be in a better position to make new disciples when we have LESS faith homes?
What do you say to the parishioners who will leave the faith, or stop going to church because of the loss and trauma inflicted by the PiG process?
How much is the archdiocese paying the consulting company that is destroying our church families and homes?
